New Shepard hops tourists briefly above the Karman line
Blue Origin’s New Shepard is a suborbital rocket-and-capsule system that carries paying passengers on a brief up-and-down flight past the commonly cited 100-kilometer edge of space.
Unlike orbital tourism, the trip lasts minutes of weightlessness before a parachute landing back in West Texas — no ISS docking required.
Space can mean a short hop, not a long stay. New Shepard turned the Karman line into a ticketed viewpoint.
